Hello world!

Oh my goodness. Here I am starting a blog…again!

You know, somehow I have always considered myself a writer. Ever since my 4th grade teacher, Miss Crowningshield wrote on top of one of my papers- “Cindy has a flair for writing”, I thought I would eventually write a book! I even tried once, when I was in 9th grade. <blush> Eek- that thing was horrible!

Little did I know that most of the writing in which I would be engaged as an adult would be newsletter articles, fundraising/recruitment letters, reports, workshop outlines and mostly stuff written under pressure- with a deadline! Not exactly the creative, literary works of which I had daydreamed!!

However, God has been good to me. Much of the writing I did do for several years was for ministering to kids- my passion. I got to write or colloborate in writing puppet scripts, long form teaching skits, object lessons and creative teaching lessons. A little bit of it has been published- mostly in small publications- but it’s something anyway.

So, I’m saying all that to wonder out loud if I can really keep up a new blog. Especially since I have kind of given it an overall parameter: I want to make God’s name known and famous by writing the detailed work I see Him doing in my life and others’ lives every single day.

However, this is long enough for today. I can get a little long-winded sometimes and I don’t want to bore you to death before my second post!
