Middle Name “Fun”

I know this will be funny only to me- but for some reason, this gets me tickled. In fact, I am chuckling as I’m typing this right now. Check out Amanda’s blog for her Middle Name Meme. It made me think of my own Middle Name Nickname Game and wanted to clue you in on an activity that makes me laugh everytime I do it or even start thinking about it (in fact, I am laughing out loud, by myself, right now.) Here it is:

Imagine that your real name, the name everyone calls you is the nickname of your middle name. Got it? Think about it for a second…everyone calls you by that name. Now if you are married, think of that new name and your spouse’s middle name nickname. Now imagine, everyone calling you two by those names, really. I hope you’re at least chuckling, because once again, even as I type this, I am laughing out loud. So, here’s an example. My kids and their spouses, go by these names:

         Couple #1: Amanda Nichole and Leslie Michael            

Couple #2: Jason Alexander and Brandy Nichole

In the Middle Name Nickname Game they will now be called by:

Couple #1: Nicky and Mikey

Couple #2: Al and Nicky

Ok, Nicky and Mikey and Al and Nicky, if you’re out there, what do you think??
